This Cookie Policy explains how https://bucharestparty.com/ (“Bucharest Party”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Operator: STRINGTECH CLOUD SRL, Romania.
1. What we use on this domain
On bucharestparty.com we do not use first-party advertising cookies. Typical cookies you may see in the browser for our site relate to security and delivery (for example Cloudflare challenge or bot-management cookies, and similar technologies set by Cloudflare as part of protecting and serving the site). Those are set by our infrastructure provider to operate the service safely.
We use Umami (Umami Cloud) for aggregate website statistics (for example page views). According to Umami’s own documentation, their tracking script does not use cookies. Umami still receives technical data needed to generate those statistics (see our Privacy Policy). This is different from classic advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The small site notice stores an acknowledgment in local storage in your browser (not as a traditional HTTP cookie from us), so we do not keep showing the same notice on every visit. That value does not enable optional marketing scripts.
2. Stripe Checkout
When you pay, you are sent to Stripe hosted pages (another domain operated by Stripe). Stripe may set cookies and similar storage needed for fraud prevention, session, and payment compliance. Those are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy and privacy documentation. We do not control Stripe’s cookies on Stripe’s domain.
3. Legal basis (ePrivacy / GDPR)
Strictly necessary cookies (and equivalent technologies) used to provide a service you explicitly request or to ensure security may be used on the basis applicable under EU and Romanian law. Our Umami-based statistics do not rely on cookies in the tracking script (see section 1); we describe the related processing in our Privacy Policy. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, applicable rules apply (for example on Stripe’s domain during checkout). We do not deploy first-party advertising cookies on the Site.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary or security-related cookies may affect whether checkout or certain pages load correctly. For Cloudflare or Stripe, see their respective policies for more detail.
